As you surely know Microsoft has recently released the 9th version of its browser Internet Explorer. It doesn’t worth remembering the Redmond’s browser historical defects but it seems like that this time Microsoft has learned from its past mistakes.
First of all the new interface has been reviewed and in my opinion it is very similar to the essential and minimalist interface of Chrome (my favourite one).
In the end compatibility with advanced features (i.e. CSS3) is comparable to other browsers’. Finally also Internet Explorer supports rounded borders (just to make an example). Many of CSS3 selectors are now supported and Acid3 test gives a good 95/100 score.
We hope that Microsoft is doing things in the right way this time; from our side we will keep on testing our CMS with all the existing browsers and I suggest our partners to do the same.
