From 8 to 13 April Milano back to being the world’s design capital, hosting the Salone del Mobile, the global benchmark for the Home Furnishing Sector and simultaneously the Fuorisalone for the promotion of design as event, performance, and installation of the urban texture, in correspondence with the Design Week.
Born as a spontaneous event is promoted independently thanks to the work of individual companies and designers and today is the event with the greatest affluence of designers, architects, students and professionals from all over the world.

Elita Design Week Festival 9
Music, culture, events. Elita tries to set up a new map of potential locations for the artistic expression, proposing a program with an official execution in the festival’s traditional settings, but also invading odd and unusual spaces with the a proposal of contents contextualized to the DIY.
Teatro Franco Parenti will be the heart of the festival in the poetic and functional space of Porta Romana.

The circuit fuorisalone of Milan, which combines design and art Liberty architecture and the path food & wine.
Public Design Festival
The street and food project. Public design and food transform urban urban spaces of Piazza XXV Aprile into places for collective living.
Sarpi Bridge – Oriental Design Week
“Make a bridge moving in the cities” is the key of this edition. It aims to create a bridge between East and West, between City and City, proposing design, research, experimentation, innovation and creativity of different oriental countries such as China, India, Cambodia and Corea.
Superstudio / Temporary Museum for New Design
The Temporary Museum for New Design is the exclusive exhibition of international design excellence set up as a museum, to give space to the best projects of great names and young talents, following the successful concept ” less fair and more museum”.
Large “galleries” built like art galleries, home to the various expressions of the new design in which the product interacts with the culture, with emotion, with the vision of the future, thanks to the layout of the exhibition with experiential strong impact and interactions with the art.
La Triennale di Milano
The seventh edition of the Triennale Design Museum focuses its attention on the topic of self-production differently declined and approached in three crucial periods in history: the thirties, the seventies and the zero years.

Manoteca present perfect
Manoteca produces recovered and re-signified fully handmade one-off furniture pieces, which are treated with natural paints. All pieces have a strong aesthetic sense, in subtle balance between functional design.

Lexus Design Amazing 2014
Fabio Novembre (IT), Nao Tamura (JP) and Tangible Media Group from MIT Media Lab (USA) are re-interpreting the Lexus brand concept “Amazing in Motion”. Also on display: the 12 winning works of Lexus Design Award 2014.
